NEW CLUBS

The league would like to welcome 2 new clubs. Tong Manor have reformed and will be based at Farnley Hill's ground (Tong CC) and Saville Stars who will have 2 teams and have joined from the now folded Leeds West Riding League. Cookridge will also be adding 2 additional teams who were also in the Leeds West Riding last season to the 1 existing team they already have in the league.

CRICKET EQUIPMENT OFFER

We have had discussions with an online cricket equipment retailer, who currently offers two websites that offer a large range of equipment from cricket suppliers from Adidas to Woodworm. The company offers a wide range of services including general cricket equipment, teamwear clothing, trophies and balls.

The terms of the agreement are as follows:
- 5% discount for all Dales Council clubs;
- 4% annual rebate for Dales Council clubs based on total annual expenditure;
- Wide range of goods online, however any equipment can be sourced;
- Price match offer if goods cheaper elsewhere;
- Fixed postage of £6 per UK order.

This is a great opportunity for clubs to attain an extra income by sourcing players equipment through one provider, whilst also achieving competitive prices along with additional discount for Dales Council members.

If clubs are interested in this offer, please contact Chris Hawksworth on cphawksworth@hotmail.co.uk for further details, as he is liaising with the company on behalf of the league.

AWARD WINNERS
If someone could email me a list of all the award winners from the league dinner I would be grateful. Thanks

TRANSFERS
As is the the norm on other league websites if you could send me any confirmed transfers (not agreeing to join after sinking several pints I'm hasten to add) and I can put these on a news article on the site.

NEWS
If you have any news from your club then let me know (e.g Hepworth Idle's groundwork). This might keep the site flowing over the winter.
